The need for solid search management and planning data is addresses through this site designed to assist responders to Inland ground search and rescue. New programs, concepts, training opportunities and training methods all are a part of the organization of the site. Additionally included is a Search Mode "Tool Kit", with quick links to get the search up and organized with a few clicks.

SAR Statistics, Inc and the interactive databases can be directly accessed from this site for adding your missions or receiving statistical zones for assistance locating many types of lost and missing persons.

There is a section dedicated to Law Enforcement officials and responders for life saving tactics, checklists, statistical zones up to where 9 out of 10 missing and abducted children and others may be (registration required). Specialized resources are identified for many necessary tasks that will need to be completed in abducted child cases, along with a checklist with explanations as to services and time-frames.

Mapping by utilizing the SAR Statistics data is another feature found here. Queries on lost persons can be reported in either a verbal report and/or a Google Map with the statistical zones present for referencing.

This site also links to the world of SAR and Incident Management software that is distributed at no cost to anyone requesting it (donations for the software may be made to support different SAR efforts). The software includes the new updated WinCASIE with new Lost Person Behaviors from Dr. Kenneth Hill, updated ICS forms, law enforcement check lists and multiple methods for establishing PoA's and PoD's.

We invite all to subscribe to SAR Without Borders, an electronic newsletter for and from the readers.
